Perhaps we should have more faith in KOC and less in Locke. Seems like Locke tries to complicate things with all his "in-depth numerical analysis" when sometimes all it takes is the eyeball test to determine whether or not someone can play.

he is still one of the best 5 or 6 players from that draft. So getting him at 12 would have a been a steal.

The team owned radio station didn't know what the team was going to do so for days ahead of the draft they criticized Hayward. Locke was especially hard on him as he was with Maynor the year before.....after Locke does a scouting report and tells everyone why a player will never make it in the NBA it is hard to back track and talk the guy up.

I dunno... Locke seems to do it pretty easily! ;-)

So if Locke really doesn't like the guy and says thats who the Jazz should not draft, thats who they well draft. OK got it.
