Don't want Cousins, and don't want Stephenson. Both are toxic for locker rooms, and now you want to put them together? Also, a Cousins & Kanter frontcourt is ridiculously pore defensively.

Dang is great, but he'll be a shadow of himself before we're contending, and at the price he'll command now, he isn't worth it, for us.

I like the Hinrich idea.

Are we just trying to sign head cases like Stephenson and Cousins? Favors and Kanter will be the starting front court. End of story.

A. It seems counter-productive to add Cousins/Stephenson and then try to reign them in with Deng/Henrich.

B. Stephenson is an UFA. You don't have to do a sign and trade to get him. He won't cost that much. . . just sign him outright.

C. Sacramento seems committed to keeping Cousins and building around him. Wouldn't want him at the max, and that's what he's going to cost. I'd rather just keep Favors.

D. The only suggestion I actually like is adding Deng. We need a starting SF and even if they draft Parker/Gordon, having Deng on board is a helluva role model for them to learn from. Give him a 4 year contract, with a 3rd year player option and a 4th year team option. I could see a young wing really benefiting from his example/influence.

In terms of wins and losses, I agree completely. In terms of veteran leadership and stability, I disagree. I think that he'd be well worth the investment. He can help teach this young team how to work together and play team defense. If you expect the 2014 draft pick to be your #1 option down the road, three years as an understudy to Luol Deng is not the worst thing that can happen to them.

This. Well done

Stephenson and his agent have been quoted many times that they think he is a max player. While I don't agree that he is he well not be cheep to sign. I would bet he gets more that Hayward this off season.

I sure hope so, because somebody is going to be sorely disappointed if they overspend on him. Won't be the Jazz. He has train wreck written all over that long-term, expensive, guaranteed contract that he has coming.

I want no part of Lance Stephenson. Did you see his nonsense in the EC finals? Besides Hayward is going to make way more than Stephenson. Stephenson basically ruined his chances of getting a major payday with his stupidity during the EC conference finals. Sactown is not going to trade Cousins.

Stephenson, Cousins and coach Snyder. It would be the Redeem Team. Mitch Albom would cream his jeans. Put DeShawn and Jimmer and Robert Swift and Kwame Brown on that team too while we're at it.
