@LogGrad98 do you think I should talk to a lawyer about this? To me, it seems like the first surgery just wasn't done right and the doctor of his assistants didn't listen to me complaining about the pain I was having.

He put in a larger plate this time and it feels so much better. I mean, I guess I don't know if the guy did anything wrong and things like this just happen. I just know I feel a lot better after this one and wonder why things weren't different from the last one.

If you have to you have to, but do all you can to stay away from going the legal route. Be happy and healthy and just move on. Only my 2¢.

He did such a bad job you went back to him for the second surgery? Seems like an obvious point that would hurt your case. And you say they didn’t listen to you but they did eventually and performed the second surgery.

Seems like they’d just say there is not 100% certainty these surgeries work perfectly and they could easily spin this and the rest of what I’ve said. Can’t hurt to speak to someone. Not sure if you had to pay for the second surgery but maybe you shouldn’t have to pay for that.

I'm not the guy that normally goes the legal route. I've had at least 5 people (friends, family, and co-workers) who have advised me to talk to a lawyer. So just kind of testing the waters. I see nothing wrong with going the legal route if there was a mistake on the doctor's end. The plate popped within the first 24 hours of the surgery and they wouldn't listen to me until I demanded an X-Ray 3 weeks later. Is it wrong, in your opinion to do so?

My whole wreck, the situation, the hell and the predicament it put me through has just been a nightmare, physically and financially.

Oh, btw, I don't have my health and that's my problem. Lol

I've been annoyed at work with a few people. One just coughs out in the open even sometimes in my direction. That's never cool COVID-19 or not. Other people are still trying to hand me their phone so I can see the funny thing they just saw on facebook. I don't want your ****ing germ sponge, thanks.

You could probably go after the city for the missing stop sign too. They even admitted to knowledge of it.

If someone hits your car while you're driving and they make your car unsafe to drive would you follow your own advice? Just suck it up, don't pursue compensation?

Unfortunately, cities are protected from things like this due to sovereign immunity unless I can prove the city had records of the sign missing.

Good luck with your string of bad luck. Really.

And if you choose to get lawyers involved I'm not here to judge that. Good luck with that too.

I went in for X-Rays and he said I need emergency surgery to fix it ASAP. I didn't really feel like I had a choice and was hurting.
