What's new

My western conference predictions

Except that if Utah wins the Northwest, OKC couldn't be a higher seed since they are in the same division. If OKC is #3 and Utah is #4, OKC would have to be the division winner.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAA. One Brow needed an explanation. What a tardsicle.

One Brow said:
He's saying that Utah will win the Northwest, but there will be at least four teams with better records from the Pacific and Southwest.

And apparently you think OKC is in another division.

1.Lakers - The champs have to be given respect until they're beaten.
2.Dallas - They could slip if one of there C get hurt (Chandler).
3.Houston - A healthy Yao, a talented starting squad ,and a much deeper bench than anything we've had in the McGrady/Yao era will make this team very hard to beat.
4.Portland - Getting Oden back (hopefully for a while) is going to make a huge difference.
5.Denver (if Melo stays) Pretty much the same team as last season.
6.San Antonio - Everyone seems healthy for the first time in years. It will make a huge difference.
7.Utah - Jefferson's adjustment to a new system will take time. It will show starting out.
8.OKC - Everything went perfectly for them last season and they still came in 8th

The Lakers are still the team to beat, but I think they're going to be a little less dominant this year than in the last few years. Does that translate to them not getting the #1 seed in the west, I don't know. I think they'll have a little less steam and it'll be hard to take all 82 games as must wins like they've been doing. If they are just as dominant then my hats off to them, Kobe might be one of the greatest ever if he can lead the Lakers to dominance a fourth straight year.

I'm a homer, I know it. That's why I don't bet on sports. I also really suck at evaluating other teams.

anyway

1) LA
2) Utah
3) OKC
4) Portland
5) Houston
6) SA
7) Dallas
8) Memphis

Neither Portland or OKC will win over 50 this year.

1-LA
2-Dallas
3-Utah
4-San Antonio
5-Denver
6-Portland
7-Houston
8-OKC

Suns finish 9th

Clippers make a mini run and then fade in March

No frickin way Memphis makes the playoffs - giving Rudy Gay 80 million sealed their fate for another 5 years.

CP3 will demand a trade 25 games into the season

And my boldest prediction of the year........Jazz will sweep The T-Wolves!!!!!!!!!!!

Carmelo will be traded at the deadline. Let's just hope it isn't to Dallas.

Paul Westphal will either be the first coach fired or the first coach strangled by Demarcus Cousins.
