Name a better wing rotation than Hayward Hood Burks

Many examples where this hasn't happened. Young players get shipped off, and explode once given the proper opportunity to succeed.
I think you're far too confident and self-serving in your preferred counterfactual. Those players may have exploded had they not been shipped out.

And you and others act like it's just common and simple to have 4 wings all as good as or better than burks.

I would like to hear some 4th wings on other teams that are good and just chilling happily on the bench

That would be why you trade one of them (Burks).

I really don't think you're following with what's being said here. You're kinda throwing stuff out there that's not being discussed.

Again for those saying we should have added talent at the wing position.

That would mean hayward, carroll/green/matthews, hood, burks.

How many teams have 4 wings as good as or better than burks? How many teams pay their 4 wings that much?

It's just kind of unreasonable and unheard of... Unless someone can provide examples.

I mean here we are with a thread discussing whether or not the jazz have THE BEST WINGS IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE ALREADY ON THEIR ROSTER, yet some jazz fans are saying "we should have added more wing talent."
Damn, some fans are very hard to please and a bit demanding

Ya the jazz are always making great trades every year. It's really simple to just trade guys and get good value back. That's why we make trades so often.

Plus since Burks is young and on a good contract, and hood and hayward look good we would probably prefer to trade the new guy we just signed to an over priced contract anyway.... Though we probably wouldnt be able to trade that player so we would have to trade a player that we would rather keep over a player that isn't producing much and is overpaid.... Which is exactly what is happening with carroll, green, and matthews. (Overpaid and under producing)

Sounds like a great plan lol

Yep. Good players on good contracts can be moved if necessary. Further, there was talk of Gordo playing some small-ball 4 and Alec playing the 1 (especially with Exum out). Even with normal injuries, if Hood's play warranted more minutes, a good coach and GM could find him those minutes. The Jazz still need to add talent if they hope to contend in the next few years. With contracts being so short now, it's hard to plan much further into the future.

Really this is hilarious.
So we acquire one of those big name free agent wings from last year and pay then big time money.
Then they put up numbers worse than Burks.
So we trade the guy who is producing better, is younger, on a better contract, and likes it here in order to keep the older, worse producing, higher paid guy.

Lol

Carroll and Green could both be traded very easily. Neither of their teams would have any interest in doing so unless they were getting an upgrade in return.

He wasn't talking about any specific player. He was responding to your post about 4 wings at least as good as Burks. Keep up.

Having 3 wings being paid max money is moronic and simply unaffordable.

If the Jazz had signed any of the big name FA wings, Hood would not have emerged and flourished like he is now. What Hood had done the last couple months is the primary reason that baking the cake was the right choice.

Again, you're operating with 20/20 hindsight. Also, I haven't mentioned any specific players, more just the general idea.

I don't feel that Burks fits into our plans as a contending team. So getting a player who can at least hit 3's and play defense would be an improvement, IMO. Then we trade Burks so we can improve a different position (let's say PG). That would equal a net impact for the team, even if maybe our wing position is a little weaker. And obviously we don't know if a trade would work out. Acting like it wouldn't because they haven't before is foolish. Each trade is different, each player is different. So a side by side comparison is fairly intellectually stupid.
