Nate Silver's NBA Playoff Predictions

It's a rough road for them, getting thru the Raptors and Celtics, and then to beat the team that beat them last year before adding Durant? It's just too much to ask.

So who won the championship last year? I have a short memory.

Nate Silver has really outdone himself.
Giving the Cavs an 11% chance of making the Finals and a 2% chance of winning it all is the stupidest statistical prediction everrrrrrrr.
Yep, apparently the Celts and Wizards have a better chance.

If that is what the numbers are saying - they don't tell us a single thing.

The Cavs have been playing like a turd in a diaper but come on, any team with Lebron on it has more than a 2 percent chance. That's nuts.

The Cavs are OVERRATED going into the playoffs. Fact.

This.

Here's my take: our injuries this year were a statistical anomaly that made it possible for us to underachiever relative to where we would have been give realistic injury projections.

Lol. Love the LeBishes in here. The Cavs have a ****ty defense; and the numbers don't lie about the unlikelihood of title contention when you play D like that.

And do you really think they will play D like that in the playoffs?

Well, because it's the Leastern Conference, they can continue to play mediocre and still beat the Pacers; and maybe they can find a way to fix things with another 1st-round free pass (and all the rest and practice time afforded). I know they'd be in a ****load of trouble if they were facing the Grizzlies instead. Hell, even the Blazers would give them fits right now.
