Also, the Heat's model of just signing old role players is kind of hurting them now. They are looking slow on defense.
The decline of Battier and the loss of Miller have been huge.
Also, what happened to Beasley? Wasn't he signed? What's his deal?
Lastly, the heat might have been fools gold. Just saying might...
They romped the EC and everyone got excited. Perhaps the heat were a lil overrated because they hadn't played anyone? I mean, hell, the best team they faced was the pacers. The pacers literally couldn't beat any of the playoff teams from the WC. Dallas, GS, mem, would have all beaten them. Okc, SA, and LA would have swept them.
All in all, I think the spurs are just playing fantastic bball. Game 2's loss seemed to shake them up a bit and they kicked it up a notch.
