I like a lot of those guys but they seem like they would be pricey. These are a few UFA that I would be nice. Some arent realistic with our money, but all players that could help us. We are going to have to make some trades though as well.
Spencer Dinwiddie, Evan Fournier, Taurean Prince, Josh Richardson, Kelly Oubre, Kent Bazemore, Batum, Caruso, Burks, Otto Porter Jr, Derozan
I would like this.Lonzo Ball might be the realistic best case scenario here. Great defender who doesn’t need the ball to score. Having a great defender at PG and he is bigger than Donovan and Royce.
I think we have the smaller taxpayer MLE which is like half of the full MLE (because I think we are in the luxury tax even if Conley walks, right?). I think Lonzo will command more than that, and I think we only consider using the taxpayer MLE if Conley walks. Otherwise it just pushes us further into the tax for a player that probably won't move the needle much.Crapologists... what options do we even have? Do we have the MLE?
Or is it just minimum contracts? Can we attract vets seeking a title after this seasons performance?

I think we also have some trade exceptions. I don't recall the Jazz ever actually using a trade exception though. The only way to get Lonzo here is probably some sort of sign and trade scenario.
At last, a more pleasant topic lol
My pick would be Taurean Prince, Austin Rivers, Tucker, lonzo ball.
Out : bogey , mike 50/50
But I am not a coach
I believe that is correct. However, if Conley comes back I think it is pretty unlikely we use either.

I would be okay if the Jazz tried to make moves to get under the tax line or minimize the tax. I don't think we have a roster worth going deep into the tax for, but I guess that is Smith's choice. I'd prefer we make the conscious choice to re-tool around Donovan even if it means getting worse for a few seasons, but that isn't going to happen under current leadership. We are just going to continue whiffing in the draft and keeping the current core together.
So do we have the full MLE if he walks? If so, I guess a silver lining of Conley leaving would be that we could sign an MLE level player that wouldn't put us as far into the tax.We are not in the luxury tax if Conley walks.
