You are funny sometines. Ja make Grizz win and score 20 points in the 4th ( total of 30 as he did not play well the first 3..) ( plus a cpl of rebound ( 13) and assist 9). This is the difference between real star and others, ref don't have much to do in it...... when did Don have the same stat in a crucial game and in a 4th quarter? i know the answer, never......
I can think of well over a dozen times when Donovan has drove to the basket in heavy traffic and ends up on his ***, no foul and the other team has the ball. I think you're right that a lot of those aren't blocks because I don't think he fully gets the shot off.
If you don't know the exact situation I'm talking about I don't believe it.

Agree with that statement. As a long Grizz fan, i can say this is one of our worst game this season...... but we win it. Just because we never stop fighting. Jazz shoud watch and learn form it. We fight until Minny gave up rebound second chances...and we win it.

Exactly. Don doesn't go to the line when he's actually fouled. Ja went to the line for 6 free throws that weren't even fouls.

I mean, I'll give Ja credit for recognizing that the refs were going to call it everytime he drove in no matter what happened down the stretch and sticking to that, but good lord that was Wade '06 Finals esque levels of officiating.

Go watch the replay of the last minutes. Ja was 4-10 from the free throw line. Memphis was down by 5 or 6. Russell gets tackled on one end while Ja goes for 6 free throws on noncalls.
When they call it like that, the defense has no idea what to do.

What's funny to me is that the Grizz head coach complained about the refs to the media after Game 4. Gave them a verbal raking through the coals. And then clearly got rewarded for it.
You'd think the NBA would want to disincentivize that, but clearly, it works.
