I'm pretty sure that the majority of the current mods weren't mods when this happened.

My appeal was to Jason and he totally chose to ignore me then gave me my final warning for backseat moderating (like anyone gets banned for that) because I kept persisting (you know, rather than just dismiss my appeal). He's still in charge though, so it doesn't matter who's on the mod squad.

I have no idea what kind of help he's actually asking for from his fellow Jazzfanz posters. I found that pretty unclear.

I'm looking for more than just moral support.....I was looking for outrage on the part of fellow Jazz posters who have a deep seated distaste for injustice! This support should be of the kind that is manifested by posts and/or pm messages to all current mods! There is strength in numbers! Our voices can be heard!

....in view of the fact that mods such as Jason can be tough nuts to crack....I would readily accept a reduction of 1 violation.....and then I would drop the subject and crusade, I promise!

While we are on the topic, I think that CJ and Hopper are both detrimental factors to this board and should be permanently removed. I am disgusted by both of them on a regular basis, and would be much happier if they were both banned from this messageboard.

You and everyone else. But alas, we have this pesky process that we use to ensure that someone isn't just banned based on the whims of a single moderator.

Kinda funny that everybuddy and his brutha can accuse CJ of bein a "racist" 24/7 with the mods indulgently toleratin it (if not participatin), but if CJ suggests that someone else (who aint even remotely connected to this board) could be racist, he's out of line. Go figure, eh?

Exactly! It takes the whim of 3 mods. "Pesky" that you can't eliminate those YOU want to ban on your own sole initiative, eh, Kicky? As if we didn't know.
