ok, so I am looking to buy new shoes... I play twice a week, and unfortunately in some gyms floor is not always the cleanest so good grip is the most important feature for me. Durability and ankle support would be next, don't really care about looks or colors as long as it is not crazy pink, yellow, or purple.. I checked few models... really liked Adidas Adizero Rose 3.5's the most from all but unfortunately they not available in adidas.ca store:( and I hate overpaying in regular stores. Any other models you guys can recommend from your personal experience?

Iversons are the bomb and the only bball shoes I have ever owned

This man speaks the truth. The most comfortable basketball shoes I've had were this style of Iversons...... I wore the same color as the pic, but the lower ankle support ones:

I bet you would have to snatch them up via ebay or amazon now though. It's not like they are going to be at stores or anything.

Yep.... I had 3 pairs of iversons and they don't get any better.
Still have a pair of all blacks from about 2005 that I have kept in good shape and I still love em

The trade-off is usually flexibility vs. support. So if you don't play a guard-role, and your ankles are a bit on the fragile side, I'd stay away from shoes like the kobes, the hyperizes, and maybe even the hyperdunks.

Hyperdunks are my shoe of choice, personally. I've heard that the Lebron is quite good for those with ankle problems, due to their tremendous support.

It's hard to say though. I only really know my nike shoes, personally (worked at the Nike store for >2 years)
