Never Trump

Its not even about religion. Im not religious. Its about death and Murder. You know, things humans literally cant live with.

Be honest. How many times have you went over to the middle east to vacation? Better yet, how many times have you went over to try and help innocent people? You probably never have. You know who does go over to try and help? Thats right. White Christians. People are giving their sons, daughters, and own lives to try and help. Which is a whole lot more than the social justice warriors here hiding behind their keyboards.

You know what Muslims need? A meeting, just like you suggested and talk about a way to stop growing hate coming from their religion. But you cant. You know why? Because the majority hates America and will kill you if you try. But ya, lets be real tolerant that.

I've worked all over the Middle East and in other Muslim countries and have never had a single problem. I have had nothing but good experiences with mostly good people and had a enjoyable work experience. I would not hesitate to go on vacation to a number of Middle Eastern countries, or more broadly Islamic countries. The Middle East, and the Muslim world, is subject to gross negative and false stereotyping in the west. I don't deny that there are aspects of Islamic culture and beliefs that I find disturbing, as I do many aspects of Christian belief particularly the evangelical strain of it, but like any religion or large group, it is a wide and diverse population full of it share of good people and also assholes, just like any large group of Christians. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I suspect you've had no real dealings with many Muslims during your life.

I cannot help but wonder, is Computer and alternative identity for Carolina jazz? Or perhaps Computer noted a vacancy for resident board bigot and decided to audition for the job.

Nothing will change until those like you quit throwing this into white people's faces, whining incessantly about it, and start pushing for actual solutions instead. People don't like solutions; they like to rant and cry, which leads to nothing but blow back and that's exactly why we have a candidate named Trump leading one party.

We can listen to each other all day long but that will not give us any concrete results. Focus on real solutions, not "try and be apart of the solution". The latter is empty rhetoric and it's harmful to your own cause.

Couldnt disagree more. Things are changing and have been. Tensions will get higher and more issues will arise as people bring these issues to light and fight to get equal rights but in the end things will continue to get better as they have. Actual solutions are being pushed, part of solutions is addressing and bringing attention to the problem. Trump is rising because we have people who feel offended by these issues and want to fight to keep their power and show the lack of education in this country. Yes there are some smart Trump followers but they are the minority, the majority are very uneducated. The long term solution to Trump and people like him rising to power and attention is education. Also it not "my cause" its all of our cause. Addressing that you treat people different because of their skin color and realizing that is a step in the solution. Educating and improving relations is another step. Our judicial system and our police officers need better training and need a better selection process.

It wont change all the way until people like you stop pretending that you are being hurt or attacked with facts of social injustices that are happening. People take it personal and fight back against these facts and claim they dont do it. They need to realize that everyone makes judgement based on skin color, that does not make you a bad person or malicious. That means you grew up and are integrated into a society that has ingrained that into you. People need to address that in their own lives and realize when they do it and try to change those perceptions. It will take time and it will have kickback but it will happen.

I don't give two ****s about "race" or skin color. And I don't make judgements based on it.

You do know that Hitler was a white Christian, right?

White, yes. Christian, not so much.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_views_of_Adolf_Hitler

Aspects of Adolf Hitler's religious beliefs have been a matter of debate. He is generally believed to have been skeptical of religion, but opportunistic and shrewdly aware of its influence on politics.[1][2][3][3] Raised by an anti-clerical father[4] and practising Catholic mother, Hitler was baptised and confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church as a boy, but became hostile to Catholicism in adulthood.[5][6][7][8][9][10] In his semi-autobiographical Mein Kampf, Hitler outlines a nihilistic philosophy, makes some religious allusions, and declares himself in favour of separation of church and state.[11][12][13] In public speeches, Hitler references providence, and sometimes said he was Christian.[14] Officially, the Party endorsed what it termed "Positive Christianity" which stripped the religion of its Jewish origins and certain key doctrines such as belief in the divinity of Christ.[15][16][17][18][19] In practice Hitler's regime persecuted the churches, and worked to reduce the influence of Christianity on society.[20]

Hitler was reluctant to make public attacks on the Church for political reasons,[21] but generally permitted or encouraged his inner-circle of anti-church radicals such as Heinrich Himmler, Joseph Goebbels and Martin Bormann to perpetrate the Nazi persecutions of the churches.[22] His remarks to confidants, as described in the Goebbels Diaries, the memoirs of Albert Speer,[23] and transcripts of Hitler's private conversations recorded by Martin Bormann in Hitler's Table Talk, indicate anti-Christian beliefs. Goebbels wrote in 1941 that Hitler "hates Christianity".[24] Alan Bullock considered that Hitler's central objection to Christianity, was that its teaching was "a rebellion against the natural law of selection by struggle and the survival of the fittest". ...

You are also not from this country and you are not white. I am guessing that you do occasionally make judgments but hopefully dont let them effect your actions towards people.

You never make a judgement based on race?

You go to a gym. You see two people, same physical dimensions but one is white and one is black. They ask you who you think can jump higher. What is your brain's first thought?

I don't judge individuals based on their race. Surely this is normal?

Many Arabs are racist as hell. What does being white have to do with it? From my experience, some people care about race, and some don't.
