I have a defense of Log’s Kobe pick but I’ll save it til after the draft. I wouldn’t have taken him but in some ways, it makes a lot of sense.

Stockton went 3 many years ago so not the highest he’s ever gone.

I’m not a big fan of Kobe at all I actually think he’s the most overrated player of all-time but we will save that for another day.

I also messaged @Rgiss on reddit to tell him he’s on the clock.

It can definitely work, just depends who goes around him.

And don't get me wrong, Kobe is an all-time great...but he played with some great players and coaches too.

I love UB, but Stock that early is awful.

Yep. Not sure where I’d peg him. Somewhere between 8 and 15 probably.

Not anymore. I quit to focus on my real goal of getting my filmmaking career off the ground.

    Lmao.

    Sorry, I mean good luck.

Seriously doe. And I’m not telling you anything you don’t know but it’s almost impossible. My close friend’s nephew graduated from the esteemed NYU Film School. I saw his 10-15 minute junior year film. Was freakin excellent. Reminded me of Gus Van Sant meets PTA, who’s his fave director. Never saw his senior full length film. Anyway, he was Nick Jonas’ driver some years back after having graduated. I know he was like the third director on some D film a couple years ago. But yeah, it’s sooooo tough. And you know this. The kid’s basically waiting tables for a “career.” His name is Nick Testa iirc if you wanna try to find the films online somewhere. I think they were on some social media page. The junior one was about baseball.

Thanks. He fits my overall strategy. I'm not a huge Kobe fan but there are times a guy who can drop 80 will win you a few games.

It’s a good pick. MJ light great defender, and winner, but also one of the harder stars to build a team around.

I didn't try anything. I was just curious where he would be ranked and so I googled. No agenda.

    Carry on taking your shots

I do. I figure some risk taking is in order while I'm in my 20s. No point in going through my whole life not trying. If it doesn't work out, then I'll be fine having tried and going back into teaching.

I'll add this: while it's near impossible to make it in Hollywood, it's very feasible to make a living as a freelancer (I network with them regularly).

I’m interested in trading up from #22 and using #43 to do so.

That’s my 2nd and 3rd round picks for an OTC pick.

Send me a PM if you’re interested.
