You realize we are making these comments about your jazz fandom because you are attacking someone else for their fandom right? Self aware is not a word I would ever use to describe anything about you.

Nope, there is no set political crew. Most issues brought up have debate back and forth and all different directions. Just because they dont agree with you doesnt mean they are all on one side or share the same opinions. You just have your own unique set of rules for facts that make it almost impossible to have a real discussion with you about an issue. Plenty of people disagree with me on lots of things. My opinions are not popular on here. I get called out for things all the time as well, its no big deal and part of discussions.
I have yet to ever see anyone not be tolerated for having a different view. People who break the rules are not tolerated, but those are pretty basic. People who are rude and/or mean are generally not tolerated. People who troll also tend to not be tolerated. Having a different opinion is not being intolerant of others.

They are great people to hang out with. I dont agree with them on everything though. I absolutely do my best to find a different perspective on everything. You seem to think I take the Alex Jones theory of Satanism in the shadow guvmint seriously. You did not read my fairly recent remark that it's just too much to believe that even Hillary could fit all that into her schedule, and you know I believe Hillary is as bad as it can ever get.

For otherwise successful people with all kinds of "connections"..... the qualifying factor that makes anyone a "fascist" in my view.....who makes hay every time the phone rings with someone who has cash in need of her favor..... I just don't see how she could lose contact enough to discuss anything with the Devil..... If I was in a room full of conservatives, it's just my nature to look for something that doesn't make sense, and maybe attempt to put something different into play. On the socialist Left.... in some remote corner.... there is the Lyndon LaRouche bunch.… not many.... but they really do get the word out. If they send someone to Russia, Putin invites them to speak. If they send someone to China, Xi hosts them at a big gala dinner. They talk about stuff like space programs, nuclear power, new efficient MagLev trains, the new Silk Road concept, a new financial order not based on the dollar,and about how insane the Queen of England is...… They don't like John Dewey's primer on education, and fantasize about Socratic methods for bringing out inherent human gifts of logic, reason, deduction, and all kinds of creative stuff.

If you really wanted to draw a connection with Putin, you could find Trump having some "friends" in the LaRouche group.

So I say the reason Trump isn't passing the test with our establishment is just because he's not in their direct control. I say this is a country where people can cast meaningful votes and once in a while get something different. And I say different is good.

Certainly not the end of the world.

I don't do reports much. I usually just do my bit in the threads. I was poking at you a bit. It's just wrong when some folks don't respond to the actual content of what I contribute.

In general whenever people start trying to make rules sufficient to cover all the complexities of life, it comes down to nonsense.

I've never seen any policy or set of rules, or laws, however extensive or however concise.... however well-considered or however reflexive.... that is not "nonsense" in the hands of fools.

Nor do I imagine I am not actually a fool myself.

In any society of humans, it is the fairly imaginative set of "virtues" that we attempt to apply in real life towards one another.... which are emotions or feelings rather than logic or rules... which enable us to make any enterprise, like this site or any other organization.... actually bearable.
