What a great way to start the Jim Harbaugh era in San Francisco!! I watched the game at Legends with the Utah Niner Empire. It was a lot of fun. The place went nuts for the back to back KR and PR TDs from Ginn. It sure feels good to finally have a head coach who actually knows how to coach.

You beat a God awful Seahawks team at home, an opponent who was down just two points with about five minutes left, and you needed two special teams TD's to do it.

Your point? I don't care about any of that right now. I'm going to enjoy this win, and the fact that my team no longer has an idiot of a head coach. Things will only get better from here. Jim Harbaugh is a smart head coach, and he is going to return this team to glory. Will it be this year? Probably not, but you never know. For the first time in years, I feel really good about the future of this team.

The Cowboys are trying like hell to pull off one of their patented choke jobs. How in the **** do you let a guy run straight up the middle to block a punt in the NFL? Pathetic.

Pittsburg was manhandled by Green Bay in last years Super Bowl
Wasn't planning on replying to this but what Superbowl did you watch last year? Just curious?

The one that ended 31-25 or another?

Total Yards
Pittsburgh - 387
Green Bay - 338

Turnovers
Pittsburgh - 3
Green Bay - 0

If it wasn't for Mendenhall fumbling (I know I'm playing the what if...) its a different game. REMEMBER the Steelers closed it to 28-25 Green Bay with 3 turnovers vs. 0 - Green Bay got the ball back with 7:34 left in the 4th up by only 3at that point. They put together a good drive (31 yard completion on 3rd and 10, 21 yard pass on 2nd and 9) and took time off the clock. They kicked their FG but the Steelers still had a chance to win the ball game on the last drive with 2+ Minutes left in the game.

I would far from say they were MANHANDLED...

If you want to see someone get MANHANDLED please watch a copy of yesterdays game Steelers vs. Ravens - 7 turnovers and 0 aggression.. that was getting MANHANDLED.

I was just thinking about this today. Is Manning the best QB ever to play the game? I think a strong case could be made that he is. With Manning the Colts are Playoff bound and possible Superbowl contenders. Without Manning they are getting blown out by a slightly above average team. With Manning, Reggie Wayne and Austin Collie put up Pro Bowl worthy numbers. Without him they are exposed as decent, but unremarkable wide receivers. Manning is 100% responsible for the success of the offenses he runs. Brady (while a great QB) and others benefit from working with excellent coaching staffs.

Manning may be the best I've ever seen. Take Tom Brady off the Patriots and they win 9-10 games. Take Manning off the Colts and you're looking at drafting Andrew Luck.

Maybe that's a good thing for the Colts right now. Draft Luck to sit behind Peyton for a year or two. They looked like the worst team in the league last night.

This is hysterical. People LOOOOOVED Singletary at first. Disciplined. Holding player's responsible. Demanding more from them. And then when they continued to suck, they hated him and he was an idiot. Harbaugh may be good, he may be great or he may crash and burn. You, I, and everyone else has zero idea of how good he'll be. If I had to bet, I'd say he'll be mediocre. The 49ers haven't been relevant in a long, long time, have ****ty personnel, play in a division with a likely very good qb in Bradford whose coached by a very good coordinator and both of whom are under a very good defensive-minded head coach, an opponent in Seattle who has great home field advantage, and another in the Cards who has a head coach who's already led his team to a Super Bowl. San Fran has none of this. The head coach is a question mark until truly proven otherwise. They have no great home field advantage. They have no great or even good qb. Their weapons are mediocre at best though I think the rookie running back Carter (?) could be a steal. They lack a lot and the fact that you claim he'll be great after a close win against a crap team is silly. You or I have no idea how he'll be.

But congrats on the win and keep drinking the Kool-Aid.

I also think Harbaugh is going to make a difference in SF. They are going to be limited by their roster, but I think we're going to see some noticeable improvement, even if they don't roar their way out of the gate and into the Super Bowl.

Oh wait it's Tue and the game is already over? Well heck somebody should've told the Phins D because unless their goal was to not show up or complete suck then they sucked the suck so suckfully that I can feel their suck breeze all the way in Utah.

Honestly I was happy with the offense other then Henne's "fade" endzone attempts it was pretty good considering the new offense installed and new OC combined with the shortened off season. Also I really didn't expect the Phins to win but I did at least expect the D not to do their interpretation dance of the dying cockroach, I also understand it is Brady (who before last year did not have a winning record against the Phins) and he was definitely in a groove last night but you can't tell me you saw any fight back in the Phins D.

Matt Cassel.

It's no insult to Brady to say he's not as good or as important as Peyton Manning.

Not that I disagree that Manning is more important than Brady, but just stating Matt Cassel's name isn't proof of that. Cassel is a pretty good QB in his own right, a top 16 IMO. The Colts have crappy backups, and brought in an old man to learn a complex offensive system. I think Manning is more important, but I think Brady is the better overall QB.
