NFL Thread 12-13

If Peyton Manning loses to the Raiders today, I'm not watching anymore Broncos games this year. I love watching him, but you have to draw the line somewhere.

To Alex Smith lovers:

How good can he be if they keep benching him for colin kaepernik? Lmao

The Niners could have put JaMarcus Russell in the game and they would have won by 30. For a west coast team to travel 3000 miles, play the early game and then shut out their opponent on the road - that is frickin impressive. Even if it is The Jets.

Not to take away from your valid point regarding the QB play, but the 49ers actually did not travel 3,000 miles to play the Jets. They stayed in Youngstown, Ohio between the Minnesota and New York games.

LOL Cannot believe they didn't get Carson Palmer for intentional grounding...

But we all know that only the replacement refs screw up

I was speaking in terms of where the teams play - I recently remember reading a statistic about west coast teams traveling to the east coast and then playing the 1pm EST game.

I don't remember the exact numbers but the collective winning percentage of those teams was somewhere around 20-25%

Watching my Broncos lay an *** kicking down on the Radiers. Love it!

Tannenhill with 400+ yards against what I thought was a damn good Arizona defense. Very impressive.

Haha.

Sproles ruled down before fumble. Clearly not.

All refs suck. They all blow calls. That replacement refs debacle was way over blown.

This.
I have been saying this all along. There was a play where jimmy graham had a catch and replay clearly showed the ball hitting the ground. They reviewed it and myself along with about 10 other people were all talking about how easy this call is because the ball obviously hit the ground. Well the refs still said it was a catch. The announcers were very confused as were everyone watching. It was such an easy call as the replay CLEARLY showed the ball hitting the ground.

They need to do like college where they have replay officials (different from the field officials) who determine whether a call gets overruled or not. The refs on the field dont want to admit they were wrong so they rarely overturn calls.

They throw in Kaep from time to time to run the wildcat.

This is far from "benching" Alex Smith.

If you disagree, ask yourself why Kaep takes 2-4 snaps in an entire game, and almost never in succession.

Or perhaps you were just making a funny. If so, I guess I missed it.
