NFL Thread 12-13

Alex Smith has a 98.1 QB rating, ahead of Peyton Manning, Joe Flacco, Eli Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Phillip Rivers, Drew Brees, Cam Newton, Matt Stafford, Tony Romo, Andrew Luck, and Jay Cutler, amongst others. Good call though.

Can anyone tell me why coaches make the decisions they do?

The Giants have been the worst team rushing the football the last two years with Bradshaw. So Andre Brown comes along and starts running up and down the field on people. Making the Giants running game 100 times better than it has in a long time. So what does the coach do when Bradshaw gets healthy again? The coach goes back to the guy who has lead your team to last in rushing last year, and benches Brown.

First running play for Bradshaw today, its a fumble. Second possession? Goes back to Bradshaw, only to punt a 4 plays later.

Question is. Why the hell would you go away from the hot hand? And why would you show loyalty to a guy that has made your running game stink for the last two years.

Baffles the mind.

IMO it's more an OL problem. That fumble was terrible but Brown also makes dumb mistakes. His KO return was utterly retarded. Anyways I think the G's need to get busy drafting OL.

That doesnt make any sense. The giants CAN run the ball with Brown. So that eliminates it being the O line as the problem.

Brown shouldnt be running back kicks anyways. He isnt that type of back. Thats not his fault. Its another coaching mistake.

Brown has gone over 100+ yards in his last two games he has seen carries. Plus scoring touchdowns. Plus doing it averaging 5+ yards per carry.

So what does coughlin do? Bench him, and not even give him a chance.

Not to mention, now the Giants are losing games, ibstead of playing their best

Its ****ing stupid.

Chronological order of events for Giants.

Play Bradshaw in Dallas game. LOSS

Play Bradshaw in Bucs game. Got down, was going to be a loss until Bradshaw went down. In comes Brown, sparks offense. Giants come back and win

Play Brown in Panthers game. Brown goes off. Giants crush Panthers

Play Bradshaw in Eagles game. Get slaughtered by eagles

Play Bradshaw in Browns game. Bradshaw immediately fumbles. Next possession nothing from Bradshaw. Giants now in big hole against browns.

Go figure. Their line is playing great now that I trash on them. Sheesh. Still, maybe you're right but I am not watching a trash RB in Bradshaw so far. That fumble really was kind of a freak thing.

Haha. Of course the day when it all boils over and I have had enough of Bradshaw, he goes over 100 yards.

But you heard the broadcaster right? Its Bradshaw's first 100 yard game in over 2 years?

I still dont think he should be the starting running back.

Some epic calls by Hack in this thread.

Bradshaw

Alex Smith

Hack, can you go into the NCAA football thread and talk about how the Utes don't have a chance to win this week pls? Thanks
