What's new

No Rubio, no Neto, no problem?

I just think DM is better in a role like Harden and Westbrook where he takes the ball up. Slot him alongside another scorer a la Portland.

This is my hope going forward. I don't want Rubio back and while I wouldn't mind Exum winning minutes and staying healthy I'd rather have another scorer and let Mitchell/Ingles and other scorer share PG responsibilities.

Gobert has played every game so I'm good with the current staff.

Yeah, only half serious...it's just frustrating to see the same guys go down for the same "stress" injuries. I really know next to nothing about sports medicine. Joe was in great shape for his age though, so maybe yoga would not be a bad idea.

Should’ve traded for Conley...
I'm probably Lindsey's biggest critic on this board. I've been critical of his draft history and lack of free agent signings. But even I have to admit his alleged offers to Memphis were more than fair. It was kind of like LA trying to get AD. If the other team isnt really serious about trading, there's nothing you can do - short of giving up WAY too much.

This.
I wanted Conley too but with his age and his contract our offer was fair.

I think the offer was fair, but I also don’t think adding (or not adding) Exum was really a big scale-tipper (on either side) in that transaction, which is why I’m baffled that he was the threshold we wouldn’t cross.

Only time will tell if not giving up Exum was a mistake or not.

It starts with Exum getting onto the damn floor.
