Lets be honest everyone bar Lauri is tradable, regardless of how likeable and fun it is to watch this years team.

The shift is less about getting draft picks out of any potential Westbrook deal but more freeing up cap space for free agency and going after the likes of Jerami Grant, Kyle Kuzma, Porzingis (if he opts out).

Free agency is pretty awful next offseason. Jazz should be using smart trades and the draft to improve.

Disagree. From a Jazz POV it doesn't get much better. Don't get me wrong it's a horrible free agency group if you're aiming for a superstar which the Jazz have no chance at attracting any year but for the next level of player who we might have a chance at we can probably afford to overpay knowing that the salary cap is expected to rise significantly in the coming years.
