If we **** this tank up cuz we got too excited about making the 7th seed we will forever be questioning what could’ve been had the Jazz done what everyone knows they have to do this year.

Just for the record-

Kessler- NBA Player
Key- NBA Player
Sensabaugh- NBA Player
Taylor- NBA Player
Cody - TBD
Flip- TBD (but looking good)
Collier- TBD
Ace- NBA Player
Clayton Jr.- TBD (looking good)
Tonje- Probably not an NBA player

Even if most of the TBD's wash out, that is a heck of a drafting and development job (I realize we didn't draft Kessler, but we developed him.)

I like Collier, the kid is tough and tough is enough.

Man were Markannen and Kessler particularly impressive tonight! And another shout out for Keyonte who has finally become the point guard we hoped he could be! Every one played well though and now that Markannen is playing like a superstar again, the phone will start ringing off the hook! Maybe keep him for the title run next year!!!;)

Not gonna overreact too much but the tank is in danger. Kessler gonna get like 25% more than whatever the Jazz thought. Legendary overthinking.

We have got to get rid of the overhead camera. Dumb as ****.

I think Key and Brice were on the edge of rotation caliber last year. Not sure how many competitive teams they could get minutes on given their defense. This year they look like certain role players and maybe beyond that. Hendricks looks to be rotation level and isn’t the “tank commander” type player to begin with. Walt is NBA ready. Ace might be a negative player at his age, but he isn’t playing like a “tank commander” type player. Flip is establishing himself as well. Once you count all those guys + vets…that’s a lot of non fake players. The worst teams in the NBA have heavy minutes being played by non-rotation level players. Not sure if we can get there.

Cody and Collier were the true commanders last season, I don’t think they’ll play as many minutes this year.

I liked your post but WCJ is 100% an nba player. Just sayin.

Great surprise tonight. Lauri is at his normal level but the biggest surprise for me was Kessler. If him and Lauri play at this level, tank will get hurt a lot ! Youngs playing well and have a hot night shooting. Clippers looks like geriatric players when we play fast...

Wasn't able to catch the game but it looks like everyone played great. Will have to find someplace to watch a replay of it. I have been down on Key but it's awesome that he is starting the season off on a good note. I am fully willing to eat crow if he wants to break out this season.

For those who watched fully was it just a great shooting night or are we actually a good team?

It was an overall great night from everyone.

Ace has had the flu for the last 5 days and apparently was in bed most of the time. Really hope he gets better soon so he can put on a showcase. He had 1 break away dunk that looked legit. He was definitely still feeling it from the flu and was on a "15 minute restriction." I think the Jazz wanted him to sit but he wanted to play kind of thing.

I'm hard on Keyonte but he played great. We had something like 5 steals in the first quarter alone. Great passing and played hard on defense. I normally like him at the 2 but it might have been some of the best PG play this preseason and game.

Lauri had 9 points in the first like 5 minutes. Had some great dishes and solid defense. If he's open at the 3, you almost think it's automatic. His passing was great as well

Walker was the best player tonight. I don't think he missed a show the entire night if I remember right. 2/2 from 3. Still needs work on his free-throws. Was diving for balls and getting the crowd pumped. It's going to cost the Jazz. The Lakers/Wizards will throw some absurd amount of money at him this offseason.

I really didn't want to see Svi but he had a phenomenal first quarter and overall game. He had something like 3-4 3's in a row and couldn't miss.

The energy in the building was awesome. The organization is REALLY stepping up the overall atmosphere of the team and the community.

Brice looks automatic when he shoots. Still needs to work on dribbling through traffic.

I love the wins but I'm hoping for more tank commander Cody and Collier. We could REALLY be special if we can hit another top 5 pick this year.

Aj had 30/7/3 for BYU's preseason game and looks like a monster. If we do tank and get a top 3, I could see Cody dropped.

I dont know what to take away from this game without overreacting. We looked so good moving the ball and we got practice shots all game while actually forcing Clippers to take much tougher shots.

One reason for this blowout was for sure the Clippers being somewhat unserious with their approach to this game. They left Lauri wide open on multiple occasions in the first 5-6 minutes. That is poor preparation or execution.... like we have only few proven guys.. you cant just forget about the #1 scoring threat.

It looks like we only ended up with a 12 to 15 turnover advantage, but it felt like much more than that. Still, I doubt we had very many games with a turnover advantage last year and I doubt we had many games with only 12 turnovers.

Key specifically has improved so much as a guy that can get the ball up he court vs pressure. Last year it felt line an automatic turnover when anybody applied any ball pressure.

I don't know is younger Ainge smarter than his daddy but somehow i have a feeling Jazz front office has decided let Lauri play close allstar level this year just to boost his trade value.
Also Kessler can get traded with these games usually RFA player who's not signed his extension will turn trade target for someone else sooner or later.
