What's new

Game Thread Oct 25, 2024 07:30PM MT: Golden State Warriors @ Utah Jazz

This might be fun for some of you guys but my God this team has regressed every year of the tank. I think we’ve adopted loser’s mentality. That first game was a study in how to choke away a close game. And the second a study in how to dress for a game without really showing up.

Already sprung for the League Pass, might have to get behind the Cavs or the Wolves or somebody else for awhile. Could be awhile though cause CF and company ain’t gonna solve a thing not in the near future anyway.
Orlando is a fun team if you like defense.

Ish Smith is currently a scout for the Wiz, but if a roster spot opens up maybe give him a call? I feel as though are players are drowning due to the lack of ball handling. It’s hard to develop when you don’t have guys who can dribble or get you into sets.

A lot of time to turn it around, but Sexton seems to have regressed. Taking less 3's and missing more passes than ever.

I’m hoping he’s just a slow starter? I have no rationale as to why he would be that way, but he did have an awful start last year.

Well I mean every year the Jazz have purposefully shed talent and gotten younger, so that's to be expected.

The Jazz appears to be a franchise where there's not even 2 guys with the same agenda, so games like this one should be expected.

I really dont think that's the issue. Jazz are just extremely young and the vets, outside of Lauri, arent top 100 players.

I agree on the team issues, but I suspect this is exactly an environment where there could be many players/coaches agendas.
Anyway, I said franchise, not just team.
Nothing they've done since DM/RG trades seems connected, at all.

What is with this new trend of comparing everything the Jazz do to a white collar office job?
