Official Announcement! Gameface Poker Resurrection -- Saturday Apr. 23rd @7pm

So with a couple drops and a couple adds I'm still at 21, which is good for 2 tables even if everyone shows. My wife is willing to be a flex player, so if we're just barely too full for two tables she'll drop out to keep us there.

That said, if there was a late surge in interest I'm ready, minus a couple chairs, to go to three tables. I don't have three dedicated poker tables but my table upstairs is large and I bought a poker mat for it, so it shouldn't be miserable to play on until we go to two tables.

So if you're reading this and want to play please don't hesitate to let me know.

I feel like almost all the people signed up are solid and will be there, but life happens and usually a couple poeple can't make it last minute. So I feel good with 21 that we'll end up with two tables of 9 at least.

Oh and I got the poker vision cards by Fournier. I really like them. I also went through my card collection and I have a four color deck by Copag that has the same layout. The Copag cards don't feel as nice but they're pretty good cards. Four color deck (black spades, red hearts, green clubs, blue diamonds) is probably gonna be different for some people.

Good plan.
I still plan to try to show up and party with everyone but its up in the air at this point. I think you and i already have an understanding but just to make sure, I will not be pokering. But i might pokeher doe

Yeah, it's all good.

If you ended up being here in time for poker and there was a seat available and you wanted it then you could have it. If something else happens and you're here for fun then that's way cool too. Broncster is coming out and not playing poker and there's a guy from work (Curtis's younger brother) who plans to come out but isn't committed to playing poker, but if he's here and we need an extra player he'll probably play.

I feel good that we have the flexibility to keep two full tables and that no one is going to get turned away who wants to play. I think some of the better poker nights were ones where there were a few people here who didn't play poker. La Chica Loco and Goth Chick, PKM and his wife... definitely some of the funner ones.


I've got to polish off my preparations in the basement but I hope to post pics tonight. I think it's the best the layout has ever been. I'm excited.

I should start insisting my wife force some of the hot girls that work for her to just come and hang out on poker nights.
 
So we're at exactly 20 right now.

If any of you on the list aren't going to make it please let me know as soon as you can so that I can try to fill empty seats. And if any of you want to fill an open seat please let me know. I'll get in touch with you in the event that one opens up.
