It was an exciting match even though no goals were scored. Ochoa was super awesome.
 
Is soccer typically a one game a week sport?

It's usually 2 for the teams in international competitions. And in the week when international play stops, you usually have so-called "English weeks" in national competitions.

I think the Spanish league sometimes even schedules 3 games.
 
In 2002, reigning World Cup Champion France exited in the groupstage with 1 point. In 2010 the Italians managed to get 2 points in the groupstage. Now in 2014, Spain will have 0, 1 or 3 points.

Love Chile. Their U-20 team was so exciting to watch in U-20 world cup in Canada in 2007 and now they reaping benefits of that young team...

funny that you say this. The Chile game here in Edmonton was the only game that I watched, and I walked away heavily impressed by a player named "Vidal".

Heard about him exploding in Europe several years later.
