To be honest I don't find many sports fun to watch. Would rather be playing. NBA obviously is the most fun to watch. Hockey is pretty good. I like to go to my kids soccer games though.

And I did watch the entire Germany Ghana game last night. Well the TV was on at my friends flat anyway. I fell asleep during the 2nd half a few times. I tried to get more into it since by the groups reaction I guessed it was pretty exciting but aside from a couple of goals it was just the same old back and forth.

I've never seen a sport where people get so excited over a miss. It's like it's some giant moral victory to get close enough to bounce it off the goal post.
 
Man, what a terrible screw up by linesman in Bosnia game. He was out of position, took forever to lift the flag ( basically was waiting to see if the shot goes in) and messed up all the game's dynamics with his horrible decision to call offside where there was no offside by at least a foot... If I where him after watching replay I would donate all my earnings from that game to Bosnia's children hospitals or whatever other charitable organization. He should not sleep well tonight:mad:.
Having said that Nigeria deserved to win. Was more sharp in attacking , had better chances and should have scored more than 1.

I don't know what needs to happen for me to root for Portugal. Maybe if Denmark would be playing and their qualifying would depend on Portugal's win.... nah even than I would not.... Just can't stand that team.

one big mistake but otherwise playing well. Lots of chances for usa.
