Fwiw Evan fournier is shooting 34% from three on the year. (Though he is having a nice year and is only 23)

I remember Burks dropping 34 points on the nuggets and watching fournier attempt to stop him.... To no avail.

(This is not directed at you stoked. Just want to get that out of the way)

Yeah Burks is amazing when he is on. Which is happening more and more often. I don't want to trade him. But I think the Jazz might need to. If that makes sense.

His slashing and rim gymnastics is a thing of beauty lol

I'm hoping that last night is an indication that he's flipped a switch in his mind and now understands that driving and dishing will make this team's offense come alive. I was super impressed.

The good thing is that even when he isn't on he still plays with allot of effort and energy and can still do damage simply by getting to the line and getting the other team in foul trouble.

And yes, I get what you are saying about needing to trade him as you and many others think he doesn't "fit"

You might be right. I'm not sure how he does or does not fit yet. It will play itself out this year I think
 
Did Mudiay convince anyone here that he's a better PG prospect than Dante Exum last night?!

Now he's only on pace for 459 turnovers

I think he can absolutely fit. The problem is who else do we trade to try and get the other shooter we need? Burke? Ingles? Hood? Lyles? I'd rather trade Burke, Ingles and Lyles but I doubt that will get the job done.

So Burks fits but another shooter fits better.

Burks assists per game per 36 minutes this year... 2.9

Hayward, 2.4.

Rebounds? Burks at 5.5
Hayward at 3.4

Field goal percentage? Burks at 43
Hayward at 38

3 point percentage? Burks at 40
Hayward at 33

Free throw percentage? Burks at 79
Hayward at 74

Steals? Burks at 1.1
Hayward at 0.9

Turnovers? Burks at 1.8
Hayward at 2.2

Blocks? Burks at 0
Hayward at 0.2

Points? Burks at 20
Hayward at 16

Plus Burks is younger and cheaper

I didn't realize Burks was having that good of a year or that Hayward was struggling that much.
Of course Hayward might be banged up and the sample size is very small so it might not mean much
