Bronco just makes it so easy to hate him. It was helmet to helmet. Period. Even the most devout Cougar fans I have spoken to have been in agreement. I forget the site (I'll try and find it so I can post the link), but the other day I saw this very topic on another message board. Somebody listed all of the Cougars who have suffered concussions since Bronco began coaching. The amount of names on the list is pretty alarming. It happens often enough with BYU that I think you have to put it squarely on Bronco's shoulders, but of course he's not going to be accountable for it.

Another BS quote from Bronco was something along the lines of if you turn the ball over, you'll lose to your opponent even if you are better than them. It seemed like he was actually inferring that BYU was better than Utah. He acts as if it will kill him to give Utah or any other team proper credit for beating BYU.

Oh well. More of the same comments will come gushing from his lips in 2012 after BYU leaves SLC with yet another loss to their in-state rivals. I sincerely hope Utah hangs another double-digit loss on them and then refuses to re-up for any new games. Chris Hill can site the need for better competitive balance in their non-conference schedule.

I'm probably the only one that cares but thought I'd post a link to it

It is about the helmet to helmet hit on Christopher when he lost his helmet in the end zone. Seems it's not just Roscoe's moral compass and living right that's better but his vision is better then everyone else as well. Here is some quotes
What a jackass. I noticed that BYU players are constantly tackling head first, with their heads down. I have to assume they are being coached to do this. And with comments like this from Roscoe, it just makes me hate that douche bag even more. He talks all this crap about living right and then looks the other way on an obvious penalty.

I am not calling for a suspension here. I would have been fine if Roscoe said something like, "Yeah, it probably should have been called. The refs miss some thing throughout the game and it evens out in the end. I don't condone dangerous hits like that but in the course of a game accidents like that can happen. I don't think he was trying to hurt anyone." But for him to say he doesn't even think it should have been a penalty is outrageous. Someone needs to make a huge poster of that hit and hang it on Roscoe's door.

Pic's too big to post and I'm too lazy to re-size it right now.
That pic is awesome!

I haven't been to a game at the U since 1988, so this is a serious question... what would the people around the guy be doing if the situation were reversed? (Colors reversed, score reversed, playing at Rice-Eccles.) Would the Ute fans be as good of sports? Or would they be pouring beer on the guy or something like that?

I'm sure he'd be pelted with ice, popcorn, etc.

On a side note, Ute fan has a rep for pouring beer on opponents and QB's moms, but I don't know where this comes from. They don't sell it at the stadium and I go to a lot of games and sit with a lot of drinkers and I've never seen anyone smuggle a beer into the stadium. Flasks and mini-bottles, yes, but never beer. Sure, there is beer flowing in the parking lot before the game, but if I was going to smuggle a drink into RES, it's damn sure not going to be a beer.

Are you suggesting Ute fans have poor sportsmanship?

The MUSS is only like 4 X 4 people so there isn't much potential to rile them up. At least I've never had problems. But I'm supremely strong and good looking, so it probably more of a testament to that rather than any discipline on the Ute fans' part.

They would get harrassed for sure. But I am sure this guy was as well. It seems weird to me that he seems to be sitting in the student section. I could be wrong on that but the others in the picture look a lot like students.
