I know he's restricted but I would offer him a bunch of $. The man is 6-11 7-6 wingspan and has 9.6 standing reach. Add to the fact he is an absolute freak of an athlete, plays D, dunks everything and rebounds well. He is the defensive center we have always wanted. This move would mean to have Milsap go to the 6th man, Big Al goes PF and Favors as back up C. You could also shop Milsap or Al if you did this. Only problem is he is best buds with Blake but with Kaman and Blake they may not keep him but I doubt it. I can dream right?

How much would you offer him? Seeing a possible front line of Biyombo, Favors, Jordan and Milsap and maybe Memo is just downright freakin scary

We would have an easier time getting kaman. I bet the clips would trade us kaman for okur and tomic. The clips would save a lot and okur if healthy would spread the floor for Blake. If not healthy insurance pays.

The Clippers can match a max offer on him, the Jazz have about 5 million to spend. Why did you make this thread?????

I stopped reading at favors to the bench. Wth are you thinking?

1. Start spelling MilLsap right.
2. The only thing scary about having a 5-man big rotation is the prospect of winning anything.
3. Nothing is known about the nature of free agency. It's not known if there will be an MLE, how that is calculated if there will be, or what cap numbers will be. You can pretty much guarantee the Jazz will be over whatever the cap is set to, and the Clippers will definitely be able to match the cute offer Utah only MIGHT BE ABLE to offer.
4. Not ****ing happening.

That guy didn't get picked in the first round. What on earth?

He was projected top-10 on some mocks early in the process. He slid hard because he didn't know how to play basketball. If DeAndre Jordan can figure it out, a guy like Biyombo certainly can.

This. I remember watching him throughout his season at A & M thinking this is the type of guy that our organization needs to take a chance on. Sure he was raw as hell, but you could see the potential for something very good. I knew his stock was falling and on draft day I was excited by the thought we could nab him around 20 or whatever pick we had. Then like always we take a player who seems safer on paper and draft Doufus. I was pissed.

I think that would actually be a great big man rotation. Then trade Millsap for some help at the 3. Jefferson, Kamen with Favors taking the rest of the minutes. 3 true big men. But, Kamen wants to be a starter. But , he would be a steal fora package centered around Memo and maybe a 2nd rounder?

I highly doubt Milsap has a random capital red L in the middle of his name.
:p

I count two big men plus Al Jefferson.

The Al Jefferson who averaged 18.6 pts., 9.7 rbs., 1.9 blks., and had the 6th highest PER among centers? That Al Jefferson? By the way, Jordan's PER was 26th among centers.

I would be in favor of getting Jordan.

I like the idea of trading Memo and Tomic for Kamen. Then have Favors come off the bench playing with the rest of the Jazz future(lotto picks), developing that most important team chemistry.

Is anyone else tired of people naming threads "Official .... .... .... Thread?" I know I am and I fixed it with a disclaimer.

On the real issue: Jordan benefitted tremendously this season by playing with Blake Griffin a lot in the second half of the season. So much attention got paid to Griffin on the block that Jordan was frequently able to establish insanely deep post position, which is part of why you see all those dunks.

Jordan is a sucker's bet because he's likely to decline in value the moment he leaves his current team unless he is paired with another player that attracts just as much attention. The Jazz don't have that player.
