***Official Summer League Roster***

Cream of Somogyi?

Who is Greg Somogyi? 7'3" with 7'9" Wingspan! Very Gobert-like length. He is 3 years older though.

Anyone knows about his game? It'd be nice to have him as the 5th big men if he's decent enough.

It's going to be a full speed action offseason and season for Rudy Gobert, who is announced to play both in the summer league and for France NT in world cup that is going to take place at the end of August.
Rudy Gobert is a badass. Freaking love that kid.

I'm pretty sure that we know what we have in Burke and Gobert. I want to see Quin's system in play with Exum running point as much as possible. I'm really hoping that they let Murphy and Clark rain threes. Good ball movement, P&R and let the shooters shoot. See if those two are worth stashing up in Idaho for a year before trying to let them crack the rotation next year. If Murphy, Clark and Thompson don't impress the hell out of Quin Snyder, I hope they add Tomic and Neto and just see where they fit into the dynamics of the roster. Don't hold on to guys just because you need to fill spots. . . start working on developing their bodies and their games to fit the needs of the Utah Jazz.

Nick Covington has me stumped. I feel like I should at least vaguely know any guys that played at in-state colleges and are good enough to get invited to a summer league team, but I haven't the faintest idea who that dude is.

He played at Weber State about the same time as Lillard but has bounced around the DLeague with just modest stats there and not a lot of hint that he's much of a shooter. I think he was a guy that was available after Garrett got shipped.

More interested in how Burke performs actually. Really important for his psyche to have a strong showing, since he has a hyped rookie gunning for his position. Needs to show he is a NBA starter level PG and control these games. We should have a strong team since many of the guys have been practicing together since last season.

Burke will be fine. He just doesn't take these non-consequential games that seriously. He only steps up when it counts. He's cool like that.

Exactly. He goes 2-10 during the first 3 quarters which usually contributes to Utah being well out of the game by the 4th. But, on the off chance the other players are hot and manage to keep it close, Burke may hit ONE game winner a season.

I don't have doubts about Burke. The thing that occupies my mind is how the egos of both those guys Burke & Exum duo work out. It will be fantastic if it works out and they don't try to cut each other. Or at least have the dosage of competition at a healthy level. Both are cool dudes. Grown up characters. Pretty much the opposite of what Kanter showed. Burke leans to be a badass mo-fo. Exum is the clever cool dude it seems. We shall see.
