Official Thread: 2024 Draft JazzFanz Homer List

My original homer pick was Castle. I still love him, but he's getting too high on mocks that it will be difficult to outperform his draft position.

I'll probably go with Carter, but he's now getting mocked top 10. It seems like everyone I like starts getting mocked too high for the Jazz.

The guy I see mocked the lowest who I think could be really good is McCullar. Other guys who I really like include Williams, McCain, Collier, and Jones.

In other words I'm TBD. I don't want to pick a nickname, but also might want to make sure a guy I really like is represented.

FWIW, the tradition has always been before the draft, and I do understand that, but I personally think it makes more sense after the draft. Mainly because if the idea is to pick someone who will outperform their draft position, then it would be nice to know when they are actually getting drafted. But also because where a player gets drafted can have a huge impact on their success.

I mean if someone REALLY wants to change their pick after the draft, I think we can make an exception.

But the idea behind this was to choose a player you love based on his/her attributes, abilities, and story. It wasn't to choose someone just because he's going to a place where he'll get plenty of playing time.

Also there is some truth in that a GREAT player will succeed wherever he goes.

But yeah again, if someone really wants to change a pick due to an adverse situation I think people would understand.

Yeah, it's really not that serious.

"Bubbles" cos he floats on court.

Just in case anyone's wondering.
Wanna hear a dirty joke?

I took a bath... with bubbles.

Wanna hear another dirty joke?

Bubbles was a 23 year old strawberry blond stripper.

Also, I haven't studied the draft AT ALL so I am going to go with a crap shoot. At first I was going to pick Kel'el 'el burrito' Ware because there was a headline about last minute risers. I pay attention to last minute risers. But I am going with my guy instead... Tijdane "French Toast' Salaun. He is going to grow to 7'0" over the next year and we will all be like... V'Giannas
