Official UofU homer thread

Ugly game for both teams. Have to give Sitake a bunch of credit for trying to go for two. He has huge balls. Bad play call though. Anyway, terrible officiating for both sides. An UGLY win, but a win all the same. Something tells me Kyle is getting on his players right now regardless of the win. They won't even have a chance at winning the south if they play even a little bit like this again.

Don't get me wrong, I'll take the win. But Utah looks pretty underwhelming after 2 games. BYU's offense is not good and their defense is "ok", yet we found a way to give them the ball 6 times. USC will ROLL us in 2 weeks if we don't get some stuff straightened out right quick.

I tend to agree. I will add that turning the ball over 6 times really put pressure on the defense and I can't complain about how they stepped up.

Honestly, I wish this rivalry would go away. It brings the worst out of both fanbases and it's just a negative experience these days. I guess that's just my opinion. Maybe one positive aspect of BYU potentially being invited into the BIG12 is that they will want to try to big-time us and stop scheduling games with us beyond 2020. One could only wish.
