It's funny because since opposing teams knows his teammates dont really want to hit him in the post, they kind of allow it to happen, or dont fight it as much as they should. If I was a coach my #1 talking point would be to feed Gobert IF he gets that deep pin. Automatic feed. You dont do it, you get pulled.

Im pretty sure people have called Gobert one of the worst post players ever, so him being so highly ranked in post-ups is interesting. Sorry it's not on a billion sized sample yet you hating *** dork.

It's just a sign of what many of the smart people here have been saying for years: If used properly and given the ball in his positions of strength, Gobert can be an effective post-player.

Not really. They played a lot of teams people thought would be bad but are actually pretty good. Ideally you want "good" teams early and expected tankers later in the season.
