Well aware of this, but with Okur in the picture, it could add some much needed pressure on Corbin to reevaluate how he is using Kanter

Just to put this in perspective, I'd rather have Kanter closer to the basket for his excellent post play and rebounding ability. If he plays with Favors, spreading the d by having the 3 in his regular arsenal would be great, but hopefully not at the expense of his ability down low. Okur didn't have his footwork in the post.

a very bad idea.
Memo could have been a better C but he opted to be a sharpshooter!
He was one athletic SOB when he was young and since then never cared for his athleticism.
I don't want EK to be a Euro-wuss like Memo was.

And since he is allowed to shoot midrangers, he showed that he is really down for that road. The difference is possibly Kanter is tougher than Memo on post up. He likes to push them around. I can easily say that 3 pointer has a great probabilty to drag him further from inside, but I have no problem with it if he is staying with the Jazz. Because Jazz need spacing. Not enough 3 point threat. And who can reject a 3 point talent?

But Memo mentoring Kanter, if Memo can give his brain to him, I'd be OK with it. Kanter needs the brains. Hell, give him Hedo's brain and watch him become a super star!
