Brantley got the 2way. It is in the CBA. If the Jazz did not want him and see him more valuable than other players then he wouldn't have been designated as a 2way. Oni is lucky and through his hard work during Summer league he got something - a minimal contract. Otherwise he would have been a free agent - that is the cba

If I’m not mistaken, the path they’ve taken allows them to control Brantley’s future for as long or even longer. If so, I fail to see the problem. Quite the contrary, in fact.

I just think the larger problem is this season’s PF play. Niang’s been doing good as of late but it would be so nice to have someone else to turn to when his shot isn’t falling

It has been frustrating. We could use a 4/5 combo. I think Brantley could be that for us next year. Or, at least he seems to be tracking in that direction.
