Simple instant review would have given Jazz 5 pt swing and none of this Jordan heroics in game 6. Freaking Dick Bavetta robbed us of possible the most epic game 7.

We dont make it to the finals that year without the play of Shandon Anderson. I was real disappointed when he left the Jazz. It was a perfect system for him and he had some real upside that never materialized. As for Sloans rigidity, that is a decades old debate on this board. All I can say is that there are a lot of tradeoffs in how a coach manages a game. I certainly had time where I disagreed with what he was doing but I am a huge Jerry Sloan fan and I think he won a lot of games because of his approach.
