Paris under attack

It's ****ing infuriating man-- because people are coming forward and saying it's coming from the gulf states. Yes, the states we are FREAKING allied with. It's brutal. If there is one nation I hate more than every other in this world, it is Saudi Arabia. Absolutely reprehensible.

God bless you man. I honestly got chills as I read that. It shows that you took this verse to heart :)

Did you post that verse earlier? If so I didn't see it, but yes it is one that's been hitting me recently. How could I dare try to witness to these people if I won't even let them into my home?

I would love to see where the finances for ISIS are coming from. Which countries, government ties, if any mosques are sending money over, etc etc.

And I know I'm late to the party on this, but it's been a busy couple days so excuse me please. I have to say I disagree with the conservatives that don't want the refugees to come to the states. It's not because of any political reason I disagree, I actually think the political logic is decently sound, but as a Christian I just can't accept it. It's wrong. We have to help them, even if it may put us in a little more harm. It's just the right thing to do.

ISIS would love it if each and every Westerner turned against the refugees. Just as they want the West to somehow "declare war on Islam". Targeting Syrian refugees, either directly, or by turning them back, is exactly what our enemy wants. I sure hate to give my enemy what he wants.

Apparently a soccer game is Germany was cancelled due to a bomb threat and now an AirFrance flight was diverted to Salt Lake after taking of from LA headed to France due to a bomb threat. **** is getting very real.

The news just broke through TV saying that a 2nd Air France plane has grounded in Canada. Good Lord...

Boko Haram just killed 32 people in Nigeria. They are a 'caliphate" of this main group.

Russia is admitting that their downed airliner from a week or two ago is from a planted bomb by this group.

French police conducted two raids that resulted in firefights. 5 injured police, 1 killed police dog, 7 arrested, half dozen explosions. French authorities said they raided at the right time as they barely avoided the group initiating its plan.

Last Thursday two bombs went off in Beirut that killed over 40 people.

A suicide bomber blew himself up in Gaziantep, Turkey and seriously injured 5 police officers. Turkey has conducted several raids that have led to multiple arrests.

Global terrorism has risen by 80% in 2014. While most attacks are in 5 countries (Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Nigeria) the # of countries falling victim to attacks is spreading. Since 2000 only 05% of deaths from these groups have occurred on Western soil.

Or is that a story of some desperate guys trying to find a more peaceful and profitable place to live? Please tell me.

Falsifying passport is a serious crime no matter what way you will look at it. Criminals should not be granted refugee status, period.

Not an answer to my question. And, falsifying passports is one thing; suggesting that they're on their way to carry out some mass homicide is another. In one scenario you've over-stretched the available evidence and look like a tool.

I think worrying that they are up to nefarious ends it absolutely a legitimate concern. Well within the realm of possible. Do we know? Of course not. But it is a reasonable concern.

sitting at home on a computer hundreds of miles away from the arrests, knowing only what the computer is saying, and making global claims about security.... that's almost always an exercise in absolute stupidity.
