Paul George will sign extension with the Celtics...only if Hayward signs too

Lately, I find myself thinking I might want KLove more than PG. The attitude **** that PG flashed in the first round this year was deeply unflattering. And, what is he, like 0 for 18 on last-second shots? Isn't his swag way out of proportion to reality?

KLove and Gobert would gobble every single rebound. And establish a killer 4-out 1-in offense.

How far we willing to go for Love... I can't imagine Indiana says no to Hood, Exum, Favs, Okc 1st, Utah 1st

Is Hayward coming back if we have Hill, Ingles, Hayward, Love, Gobert? Still have the AB reclamation project off the bench with Joe Jesus. Mitchell has to play immediately and we are thin as hell. Is it good enough?

For the record I'd try my damndest to keep Hood out of the deal, but he might be the best asset in the deal.

I don't think Houston will trade Beverly unless the know with certainty they are off of Andersons money... Are we willing to take both... Anderson's deal is fine for next year, but could get ugly super fast.

We'd have to bring in a third team to take Favs and not send much back.

The board needs more thinking like this. I was extremely turned off by PG13's attitude at the end of his series. KLove to Utah would be a straight up revelation.

Love Lebron kyrie nope

Love Hayward Gobert also nope

George Hayward Gobert maybe

The fact that both Gobert and love rebound well makes them both less effective at it when on the same team. They will steal boards from each other. See Derrick Favors

Under no circumstance is having two great rebounders worse than having one great rebounder.

LMAO. So what would be good enough for you?

If I were Indi, I would think that getting Exum or Hood plus Favors for a one year rental of PG is pretty good. If I were the Jazz, I would give PG a chance considering he wants to play for the Jazz.

Does Boston offer more for a PG rental? They have plenty of assets...

But seriously, if you are PG then going to Utah or Boston for a season is not a bad deal. Winning solves a lot of things and the concept that he is going to Lakers or bust is silly.

Dennis Lindsey traded Lyles-'didntmakeashotfor2months' for a Lottery pick! Lyles as in our worst single player for a Lottery Pick in the 2017 draft. We could get PG if we want to leverage some future for him. But it's probably a rental. Still... what better way to convince Hayward to stay?

I actually think Utah would have a better chance to sign Paul George than Boston and here is why:

Paul George was close friends with George Hill and neighbors, they would carpool to games and hang out together.

Paul George and Hayward would play pickup games all the time and became friends. Of course Hayward is from Indiana and PG played for Indiana so they seen each other often. Also just recently Paul George said he would like to play on the same team as Hayward.

Paul George would practice and play pickup games with Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell also talks highly of Paul George and how George helped him on his game. They got along really well.

Then top it off with the best defensive center and rim protector in the league in Gobert.

Utah wouldn't have to gut their team as much to create the cap space needed as much as Boston would to make it happen.

Utah is a lot closer to LA than Boston, and Utah makes many more trips to LA per year playing the Clippers and Lakers. LA is only a 75 minute flight and if he wants nightlife Vegas is only a 60 minute flight.

Btw if Jazz get PG then they get Hayward and Hill too. Problem is Utah is too conservative to make such a big risky move like that. If you look at the reports coming out they mention all the top teams who had been in talks with Indy and the list includes (Spurs, Rockets, Cavs, Clippers, Celtics). Every list excludes the Utah Jazz. All those other teams know what it takes to be a championship team.
