As a Patriot fan for the past ~20 years, I can co-sign this statement. A few years ago I completely tuned out Boston-area sports talk.

Not buying that at all. Ainge played hardball and it's blowing up in his face. Hayward is his only move left to make. If I'm Gordon, there's no way in HELL that I'd take the Celtics now. Think it was a huge mistake for them to pass up Fultz for Tatum.

Yep. But of course they don't want that to be the narrative, because they still have to pitch Hayward an apparent willingness to win now. Hopefully Hayward is smart enough to realize no one is dumb enough to take Sabonis and Oladipo over three first rounders and two starters, and conclude that Ainge is not only stingy, but also lies through his teeth.

Great move by the Thunder. It's probably just a 1 year rental, but they got out of Oladipo's terrible contract. I expect both Westbrook and George to leave next year.

If you expect Westbrook to leave, this is a dumbe move. If they lose both these guys for nothing, they are going into an extended rebuild of 5-6 years or more.
