Why?

If the Jazz aren't going to be active in free agency until 2013, they lose absolutely nothing with this deal and gain Kemba Walker.

If Dwight Howard isn't extend-and-traded, he'll be a free agent next summer, and if the Bobcats can clear Maggette, could have the money to lure in him plus one more big name free agent (Deron, for example).

Do you really think the Jazz are going to do better than Kemba Walker plus a 2013 expiring for the TPE? Or do you think Charlotte would be stupid to do this deal IF Howard+Deron is a real possibility?

Why would the Bobcats trade a rookie, top 10 pick? Do you think that they'd really believe they could attract said free agents? And do you really think those guys have any interest in Charlotte? The Jazz would have a better shot at getting those guys because we at least have a supporting cast in place to put around them.

I don't consider Walker a shoot first point guard. Prior to last season, he was primarily a distributor, and thrives in that role. Dude is as competitive as they come, understands pace and spacing, and is a tremendous leader and presence on the floor. A winner.

So for you, he this year's DeMarcus Cousins. A guy you love and would love to have. Funny enough, those two guys are probably the same two I'd love to have. You can't teach balls.
