Let's get this thing done!

How many Yes votes until you're gone?

three votes so far, and one is for cheese!

I'll keep the other two secret.

I have not voted, but my vote would be no. Forever is a long time.

Maybe just stop creating new threads for a week or so.

xo

careful around those guns dude. There is a saying in Europe... "once a year even stick shoots".

Please translate that saying.
Must be smth like

"Don't be afraid it's not loaded"
"Don't joke with a gun. Satan reloads"

Or the rule of -if you see a gun in a movie it must go off.

Real life has no difference. If there is a gun its time will come to hurt someone.

My cop relative never leaves his gun home and even puts under his tshirt when he goes to the corner shop on holidays. Not with 3 kids home. God save all of us from those accidents.

As for the OP, even if it is you Dutch, I would never want anyone, especially an oldtimer gone from here. I don't neg anyone. I don't report anyone. I don't put anyone on ignore. Let's enjoy this place alongside your trolling.

I have a gun that is over 100 years old and has never hurt anyone. Does that mean it just gets more and more evil until it is the very embodiment of Satan himself? Wow maybe I better not go plinking with that gun anymore. Scary.

Lol yeah that logic is legit.

What I did was a direct translation though and ended up not being able to tell anything once again. Hehe.

Yours is not a gun its a scrapmetal btw.

Kidding. I am sure it is a classic. Is it from the 1st one or the civil war?

It is the first gun my grandfather bought with his own money in 1912, a winchester .22 bolt action single shot (I think it is the model 1904). It is actually a really nice display piece, all the marks from use over the years add some richness to the stock and it has been very very well taken care of. It shoots beautifully as well.

I googled it and it is the model 1904. It looks a lot like this one pic I found, except the stock is a lighter color:

Yeah this one looks red yours must be dark wood.

Way to take care of it then. My granddad happened to have a smith wesson small pistol but grandma gave it away. I was so upset. Nothing like ancestors' legacy symbols.

Naw man, stay. Just chill the hell out and type in an understandable way.

How the hell did you manage to maintain the rear sight (is that the word? The flawless line of three points when you target that helps you aim accurately)?

Looks like one of the guns I shot back in the day.

Ban it it was also used by the military.

I like your threads, Dutch. They are equally ****ty to boobs', but they do create a bunch of new threads to make the place seem exciting and stuff. You're kind of like the bikini girls they hire for bar openings to make it seem like a more popular place than it is.
