I find it interesting that people seem to think stereotypes are completely made up or something. A stereotype starts with some behavior, occurring frequently enough in a given context that people begin to associate that behavior with specific groups or situations. It means it has happened enough that it is what people begin to expect to happen. Of course then the stereotype takes in a life of it's own as people being to believe it based in hearsay and not in direct observation. But somewhere along the line it generally started with some actual behavior or real scenario. Why didn’t security shut this guy up earlier?
I was at the Kong’s preseason game and a dude was heckling Shumpert (yup his own player) he said something ugly and everyone gave him a funny look and security said something to him... he didn’t show back up at half time.
The fact that Dm said he has heard it a couple times validates that some of the stereotype is likely true. Fans should police this stuff a bit better... see something say something mmmmkay.
