Possible Kanter trades?

If he's gonna play next to Favors he needs to lose at least 40lbs to be mobile enough to guard other team's PF. It's not on Quin & Co. to do that, it's on Enes to do that.

At least 40 pounds? Are they currently casting for Schindler's Other List? Hyperbole obviously but c'mon Knick. You are a tornado of awful right now.

This morning, I couldn't get it out of my head that the Jazz can put together a great package for Kevin Love. If only, Love was smart enough to sign a long-term extension with the Jazz he would give himself the best chance to win in 2-3 seasons. He could go down in the history books, if he could deliver a championship where Malone couldn't. Jazz send Kanter and Burke, Burks, or Hood, plus two picks for Love. Jazz won't be able to extend both Burks and Kanter given Hayward's contract, so one if not both will be going.

I'd seriously consider trading Kanter for Bennett straight up. Then you give me some firsts as well? Done deal. See ya poor man's Al Jefferson.

I think most of you undervalue Kanter. He is super strong 6'11" big with soft touch and range. Only 22.2 years old too. I was truly shocked by his poor defense and court awareness last year and I believe this is all mental issues.. I am very unhappy with his involvement with the religious Gulen Sect. Yes, he certainly will be better than last year, he will improve. But one thing he can't obviously do is passing. He stops the flow of offense, hogs the ball, is afraid to turn the ball over. I listened to Q, he wants a team sharing the ball, passing after passing until finding the highest percentage shot. Kanter may actually not be in Q's plans for this very reason. Also the recent moves make me think the Jazz FO might have plans of moving Kanter before the deadline. So we may see Kanter get around 38 mpg, put some numbers like 18/10 so his trade value will rise a bit.

Will it be Kanters fault again, that his teammates can not hit wide open 3 point shots ? :) You want a stretch four ? First off all teach your ****ing guards to shoot....

It seems pretty clear that if the cavs want to keep James they better fill every position and have some depth.

James will retire in Cleveland. Book it. No way he can say what he has said and anything else happen. If he left his credibility and his legacy are gone, and he knows it.

Second, if the Cavs land Love, they will not have room to fill gaps with any type of quality (with 2 max and one mini-max). Their hope is to fill team with players on vet minimums, guys who are financially set and want a championship. I bet there will be interest in this area.

The issue is not keeping Kanter the player. It will be keeping both Kanter and Burks contract-wise. Kanter is gonna want a Favors payday and will get it on the open market. Burks will get a Wesley Matthews deal or better.
