Potential Trade Targets

But if they churn through those assets without adding new ones, what will they be? Mid team who is looking to get a lucky late lotto or late first pick that hopefully turns them into a contender. Its not like they have enough to turn them into a contender by shopping with them.

They dont have the "tank option", and they really dont have the "win now" option either without taking massive gambles which could result in them being bad for a decade.
Right but if you sell off some assets and pair Don, Bridges, whatever is left then its a playoff team. Extend those guys and sell when the tank is open if you want. They also have an opportunity in 1.5 years to just sign Don outright in FA. I wait until next trade deadline at the earliest to move Bridges... again unless someone comes with a MONSTER offer. His value won't change much at all and you get no benefit of going from mid to ****. Hell if you sign Bridges and Don (even if you traded for him) you might sell them off for more than you can now or more than you paid for them in Don's case... so its better basketball and more profitable.

They should go get Tyus Jones for now and see what that does. They've had some guys pop a bit already with Sharpe and Thomas (though he fell off a cliff). Not sure extra churn is worth being a tank team.

Right now I am just basically on board with trading either JC or KO for space and second rounders (or better picks). I don't want Lavine with how Sexton is playing... Murray would be nice but Dunn is fine at his price for now. Go on ahead and bargain hunt Danny but don't force a "star" trade.

While I like that for putting out a better product, I'm not sure they will ever be a real contender that way. Just a perennial first/second round exit.

But yeah if they can get Don and extend both him and Bridges then they arent really churning assets, just moving them forward really.

Nets would LOVE to be a first or second round exit every year doe. Especially if they have the suns picks still.

Not sure, but it's at least two.
Nah... Grant's deal is so long and he's putting up stats on a bad team. One good pick and Collins is fair. I wouldn't do it.
