Predict the Rudy Gobert trade

I wouldn't want Capela. He looked fried last year....I see his contract as a negative. It makes sense for him to be sent out in a deal, but if that is the case I'd try to reroute him elsewhere.

He's not a wild athlete. Most of his injuries are more for the physicality of the position more than jumper's knee and things like that. What's most amazing about JC is his ability to catch lobs. He has elite hands and it seems like he can catch anything.
Right... I just think he's a guy that takes more of his shots in the paint and I'm guessing that is where injuries occur... contact and leaving your feet to finish. Bogey by contrast isn't shooting nearly as much at the basket and isn't driving through contact... every now and again he will hit dudes with a dunk on they heads.

I think something in the neighborhood of Huerter, JC, Capela, #16 for Rudy and Bogey is in the "deal zone" As a Jazz fan I hope we get it all... as a Hawks fan you might want to leave out #16 or sub Bogdon for Huerter... its in the zone though.

There are some here that will tell you its Hunter, Huerter, JC, 16 and future picks and you guys deal with Capela... its kinda wild.

I think we take a step back regardless of if we trade Rudy. Ingles was so important to us and his subtraction is overlooked. If we trade Mike or if he slips a little (which he should given his age and profile) we will be a play in team.

Agree with what you say here about Mike. A lot of people are forgetting / not considering how good Mike was for us during the majority of the regular season. Trading away Conley (or keeping him) will not result in a better team next year.

I think he played through some injury stuff iirc. Not sure why he'd be fried. He's younger than Rudy. He's had stamina issues before but I think you could do a lot worse than Clint at the 5 for 30 minutes a night. His contract might be slightly negative, but not by a lot.

I just don't know what the plan is at center if you move Rudy... we won't go small/5 out for 48 minutes. It also just makes the deal work a lot better. I think he could be moved later if we wanted.

The difference between a top 4 team in the west and a play in team is small... Ingles being done and Mike slipping is enough by itself to push us down without something coming up or Donovan taking a big leap on defense and becoming a slightly better passer. His catch and shoot 3 needs to come back too.

Kevin can defend well. Especially if he's not having Trae break the integrity of the defense. When he plays without Trae on D and with Trae is night and day different impact on D.
Not a good fit, all offense and a lesser Gobert. We don’t need offense, we need defense. It’s just not a good match.

Huerter is fine on defense. He's long... I think you are seeing a pasty redhead and making assumptions here.

I feel you on that. That said, you don't know the other moves your team is working on. Could resolve some of those questions.
Just an FYI Thee is like a thousand years old and gets easily confused.
