The difference between good defense and bad defense is simply taking Mehmet Okur off the floor. The one or two nice shots he delivers just aren't worth the lack of defense and rebounding. There are other guys who can create offense now.

Lots to be impressed by in the first half. Tinsley looks like our best PG, he was +8 for the half. Big Al has 3 assists, CJ is shooting lights out for the 3rd straight outing if you include the scrimmage. Kanter is already a solid defensive presence down low, something I've been looking for on this team for 4-5 years. Memo still has a pulse but you can't ask him to guard 3's.

Yep. Tinsley can play. Definitely looks like the best pure point guard on the team. I'm impressed.
