I think we have a big enough sample size to know Ingles is a good shooter. Every player has ups and downs with shooting.

Thats a big number for someone who will likely be a pretty poor NBA player. I appreciate the Jazz being loyal but like cutting Favors loose because his contract was too big I think the Ingles extension was a pretty big mistake.

i'd say it's more of a thing of how to orchestrate the second unit, that runs very differently compared to last year.

Oh I get why they did it. They’ve been wise with contracts as far as building relationships-that’s why they gave Exum an over pay and Favors a good deal for a year. That shows not just players, but also their agents, that the Jazz are good people to do business with. That was likely a factor in Bogie signing here. Heck, Joes current overmarket deal follows that strategy itself.

That said, joes already on a great deal. Great money, plenty of years. He’ll be 37 in the last year of his deal now (I think.) I just think you should’ve seen how he looks at 34 before extending him.
