I don't think it's an overpay,. He's coming off of the best year of his career, plus provides a ton of leadership on and off the court. I'm not sure where the $14 million number is coming from, everything I can find say's he's going to make $12.5 million next year. Even if we could've saved 2 or 3 million I'm not sure how much that would've helped us, we'd still be over the cap and in the luxury tax.

I doubt the Jazz would trade him but it's a very tradable contract if they decide to to that. I really don't see any problem. To me, Bogey making $18.5 million next year and then $19 million the following year is a much bigger issue.
