I've read some part of it in a news page. They wrote that Obama said that there were European and US citizen members constantly joining ISIS and that their intelligence agencies made them aware that there are possible attacks in their home countries they expect.

Is that true or is it just the justification excuse for the air attacks?

I honestly don't know.

But just because 1 angry teen out of 10,000,000 joins ISIS doesn't mean we need to declare war on this group. I just think this whole thing stinks and that we're getting ourselves back into another illegal war of choice. As if the last Iraqi war wasn't a lesson already?

I just don't think bombs from our airplanes will teach the Shia and Sunnis to get along. Crazy thought, I know...

How can we call reasonable and rational crazy? Well maybe in today's world... A normal person is abnormal in a group of abnormals.
 
Time to start thinking in a 21st Century mindset - no more dropping bombs on a bunch of bearded peasants in the middle of the desert running around with jammed up UZI's. Find the leaders and send drones to their houses.

Cut the head off the snake, if one grows back, then cut that head off too until you find one that you can pay off to STFU.

If you are saying that the Syrian moderates need more training, and ask for significant fund with which to do that training, I think the obvious implication is that, currently, they are incompetent for the job.

There have been cases of western citizens (such as American and British) joining them. But the numbers are few and far between. Recently two Americans died fighting for them and one of the guys that did the beheadings in the videos is believed to be British.
