They are shooting an ungodly 50% from 3. Meanwhile we are only shooting 25% from 3. Amazing that we’re even up 2 with that stat. Free throws and offensive rebounds keeping us in the game so far.
Mitchell picking the guards apart, and he's making some good shots, can't hate, but the turnovers have led to some Jazz good shots. Jazz have really done a good job reading the actions and Clippers have made some poor plays. Harrell might have helped tonight just as a different option to throw the ball to on a roll or cut.
As much as I like to blame Doc, this one is on Kawhi and PG. They totally got outplayed by Mitchell.
12/44 FG is what it is, can't blame anything but an off night for that one. Mitchell wasn't scoring because he got some special plays, he just beat up on the Clippers guards in a lot of iso and pick and roll, and realistically another game he might not do as well in those same sets. The Jazz as a whole took advantage of the Clippers sloppy turnovers even though the Clippers didn't have a ton, Jazz seemed like they always got something out of it.
