Quotes from the Washington Wizards forums - "Wizards got schooled on how to play solid defense"

What was worse to watch?

Watching Big Al offense or watching Trey Burke offense?

I have to go with Trey Burke offense.
I choose Burke offense too.

Now same question but on the defensive end.

I think big AL defense was worse to watch

"Gobert is such a force! One man defense. that dude alters f*** ut of game even if he scores nothing and grabs no boards, teams bend their offense*AWAY*from him. He’d be 1 or 2 in a re-draft, what a steal."

PREACH!

Or, as I call it, "anti-gravity". :)

Wow, the Burke hate is intense.

Looks like he is done.

He is done in the NBA, he will have a comfortable life in leagues abroad where so many teams are looking for that "one american combo PG you can just dump the ball to and who will keep shooting with no regard for life, death or meaning of either of them". in 10 years we will learn that he went to France, Israel, China and ended up in Malaysion 2nd division.

"Burke is an abomination. Someone lock him in a cage and send him to Russia as a DC peace offering to Putin"

Hahahahaha, savages

Sending a basketball player of Burke's caliber to Russia could be viewed as an act of agression to delegitimize/tamper with the Russian Basketball Association. It would ruin the already tenuous US-Russia relations and trigger WWIII.

Oh God! I cannot get enough of these quotes. Thank you everyone for posting these after games.

I post, therefore I am.

How were there so many quotes about Burke when he only played 5 minutes? And he only took 2 shots...

You should read the other one that hasn't been merged with this thread yet. The whole first 3-4 pages of their thread at RealGM was about how bad Trey Burke sucked. I was laughing my *** off while I was reading it to compile the post.

Exactly what I was thinking. Those fans would be committing mass suicides if they had to endure one of those 1 for 15 shooting nights by Burke like we've seen here.

I actually left a bunch of Burke quotes off! They appear predisposed to search for signs of Burke-like play.

It's extremely strange how passionately the Wiz fans hate Burke...they're a good team, with the #3 seed in the East, they probably have the 2nd best backcourt in the entire NBA, but their fans are so concerned about an end of the bench scrub on their team. If I were a Wizards fan, I'd be far more pissed that Markieff Morris or Gortat played like *** vs. the Jazz. Who gives a **** what Burke did or didn't do in his 5 minutes of action. Weirdos.

I agree, definitely snowball effect probably precipitated in part by his fall from grace while in a Utah uniform. Not dissimilar to the ridicule that Javale Mcgee has had to endure at the hands of Shaq and how that effected his career. To be fair, I didn't think that Satoransky looked much better.
