Quotes Pelicans' forums-"Smoothie king also built in Native American burial grounds."

All I have to say to Pelican fans are: Go watch NBA Finals 1998 game six before you complain about the refs. About the Jazz name, the reason you can't have it is because you didn't support the Jazz when you had them. So Utah isn't giving it back and stop asking you bunch of whiners. Oh by the way, I like your team and think they are going to be great once they mature and if they hit on their picks. Watch out.

I pride myself on not being a biased or homer fan....I really don't think that was a foul on Gobert.

First, BI hooks him and forces Gobert to the ground with him and BI also loses control of the ball going up for the layup before Gobert even makes contact.

"its an unwritten rule that if you get ball first, the shot is over and the rest is incidental contact"

One of the angles showed that Rudy touched the ball before he hit Ingram's forearm. No foul.

Exactly. You gave up custody of the Jazz when you were out giving hummers on Bourbon Street in the late 70's; the state intervened and gave the Jazz to a loving, nurturing LDS home that gave it food, shelter, and warmth...not cocaine, ***** beads, and drive-thru margarita stands. Now that the Jazz is 41 years old, it technically would be the perfect time for those adult things. But nah, the Jazz gonna stay strong and Choose The Right, all the way to a 'chip.

Fwiw I have a friend that is a diehard Pelicans fan in Louisiana. We were talking about the game this morning and he said that in real time he was angry that Gobert fouled Ingram and got away with it, but that after he watched the replay he felt that it was a good no call because Ingram hooked Gobert

"Everyone but ingles all ran to the locker room while it was being discussed"

"He wanted to go 1v5 in OT."

Ingles needs to get some merch going. He is becoming very popular.

If Ingles was allowed to go 1v5 all the time we'd go 98-0 and win the title. Well known fact. We are forced to play 5 players and get the other 4 involved so that there is competitive balance.

I wish I had clips of Ingram pushing off on half his shots. There was a pretty bad one late in the game and it was never called.

1. Goberts arms were straight up and down.
2. BI lost the ball
3. Gobert appeared to deflect the ball
4. Gobert then bumped his arm
5. You cannot review a no call. So, there was a review of an unreviewable play.

For being self proclaimed "screwed" by the ref as much as they are you'd think they'd at the very least know the replay rules.

As Jazz fans we know cause Mitchell was raked across the arm at home while gathering for a 3pt shot against SAC I do believe. Which we then learned if you didn't know before, it couldn't be reviewed because there was no call on the floor (as has been stated in this thread) which you may not like the rules but should at least know them.

Straight up! The Ingles luv is going through the roof. A buddy of mine from Philly (season ticket holder when he lived there) loves watching the Jazz, calls Ingles, Bird. Even Joel Meyers, the voice of the Pelicans was talking about how he's a throwback, good for the game, chirps in a good-natured way, and how engaging he is to talk to. Not sure that Shaq likes him though:

That was a foul fo sho. Good no call though. I'll take it.
